Firstly, it seems likely that you are putting a lot of effort in making DB2 run on Mac OS X, and my profuse thanks for this.
However, my purpose will be solved with 9.7.5 with its near Oracle capability. I will then be able to offer both DB2 & Oracle based solution. Therefore, my hopes are pinned to that.
I appreciate that it may not be proper for you to prematurely comment on 9.7.5 on OS X. I can only hope it is sooner rather than later.
I have a suspicion that the “as-yet-not-100%-transformed-to-64-bit” status of OS X Lion may have something to do with the delay. Perhaps Mountain Lion may alleviate the situation. Do comment if convenient (even if my suspicion is wrong or unfounded).
My name is Leons Petrazickis, and I like to scribble about various techie things. Opinions stated here are not representative of anyone other than myself.
Any news of DB2 9.7.5 on MAC OS X Lion?
Any possibilities on MAC OS X Mountain Lion?
Thanks
